Welcome to Cocomel Portraits. I'm a family photographer based in Contra Costa County, California, and I believe the most meaningful images come from the most genuine moments — a toddler's belly laugh, the quiet way a partner rests their hand on a growing bump, a newborn curling into their parent's chest.
My journey into photography started long before it became my career. I was always the one with a camera at family gatherings, drawn to the in-between moments that everyone else missed. Over the years, that instinct became a craft, and that craft became my calling.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me exploring the trails of the East Bay with my own family, hunting for the perfect golden hour spot, or curled up with a good book and far too much coffee.
